Meet the Artist

David Walter Banks is an artist based in Atlanta, Georgia with a deep love for the natural world. He believes the outdoors is a healing and magical space vital to our existence and worth preserving. 

His work ranges from stylized conceptual portraiture to environmental-issue based documentary photography. In his free time he spends as much time as possible in nature with his wife, pups, and camera.

His work is in the permanent collection of the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library - Yale University, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, and the Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Division of Art, Prints and Photographs: Print Collection at the New York Public Library. 

He has lectured at Western Kentucky University, Ohio University, Corcoran School of the Arts and Design, University of Miami, SCAD, UNC Chapel Hill, University of Montana, and UMass. 

His clients have included TIME Magazine, Apple, The New York Times, National Geographic, Rolling Stone, Mother Jones, ProPublica, Toyota, The Wall Street Journal, Target, The Washington Post, Variety, and Red Bull among others.

Sustainable Materials

All papers and wood-based materials are sourced from Forestry Stewardship Council certified sustainable sources. Packaging materials have been carefully selected to reduce the impact on the environment whilst still ensuring your artwork gets to you in perfect condition. Plastics are kept to a minimum and all packaging materials are sustainably sourced, being a mixture of recycled, recyclable or biodegradable materials.
